Carols by Candlelight 2023

On November 30th, 2023 we held our annual Carols by Candlelight Concert in St Luke’s Church Clapham in support of St George’s School Ethiopia. It was a very special evening, with many carols sung and money raised for the children, staff and families of St George’s.

Your support is invaluable and immensely appreciated.

We we had the distinct pleasure of the listening to several beautiful hymns sung by Broomwood Children’s and Adult choir. We were lucky enough to have in attendance Opera Holland Park, who performed a poignant composition by Adrian Munsey.

We welcomed Anneka Rice and Kathy Lette as our esteemed readers for the evening.

It was an extremely unique evening which raised in excess of £12,000 for St George’s School, Ethiopia.

The work that St George’s continues to do is crucial to the lives and livelihoods of hundreds of children in a region critically underserved by good school infrastructure.
